FOOD

Okay so i just put together some of my pictures of the food I've been eating or have seen.
The most delicious Curry Udon... sorry half eaten.
This is a bento box that I bought from the downstairs of the apartment. It has a hamburger steak, fried chicken, curry Croquette and pork. It was really good.
This was bought at the convenience store, Lawsons, that is about a block away. I had no idea what it was when I bought it but it was good. haha It was some kind of pasta thing. The convenience store people even heated it up for me.

This was at a grocery store somewhere. But look this delicious fresh sashimi is only about 5 bucks.
This is at the food floor at SOGO department store. These bento boxes have Kani (Crab), ikura (Fish eggs) and Sashimi in them. They range in prices from about 650 yen (7 dollars) to 1500 (17 dollars).
This is the one I ended up buying. It has Crab, egg, seaweed, salmon, scallop, ikura, and UNI and rice on the bottom. This was probably the best meal I had yet. It was soo good. even the rice was perfect. Yumm...
This is the Ton Katsu I had with my mom at the place we go at least once every time we come to Japan. It's in Kyoto, right next to the JR station. This time I ordered pork and croquette combination.
My mom ordered the shrimp combination. LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THE SHRIMP... (please note that the batter is a REALLY REALLY thin layer. THAT IS ALLLLLL SHRIMP)

Crazy right? It dwarfs the chopsticks.
Fruits here are cray expensive. That group of grapes cost 1500 yen (17 dollars) haha that TINY stem of grapes. psycho.
Here are sushi rolls.I thought this was cool because they are kind of like the ones at Masu. but just with better sashimi and more choices. They are definitely on my list of things to try.
